The 4x200m Relays..................
A Class 1 team bent on smashing the record suffered to a faulty penultimate hand off which resulted in the baton spending roughly 4-6 secs on the ground still managed to be in contention for the top prize, just slightly being held of by the William Knibb Memorial and Record Holders Holmwood Technical, if not for faulty exchange then record would've surely been shattered.
Relay Order: Dane Steen, Ulato Sam, Mikhail Williamson, Shavon Thompson.
The Class 2 team lead from start to the final exchange, they came 4th in the heat.
Relay Order: Twaine Gordon, Rickyle Foster, Ejay Hylton, Matthew Bennett.
The Girls finally graced the track, the race for them was mainly just to "fill the gap", the team was placed in lane 1 with the other 5 competitors in lanes 4-8. It was a spectacular feat by the girls to close the gap between them and the traditional girls school. Commendable Run Ladies.
Relay Order: Shenika Rochester, Avadon James, Yaneaqua Brown, Jheanell Scarlett.
The Performances from the 2010 edition of the Western Relays prove that both Boys and Girls Sections of the team will be forces come Gibson and further on the ISSA/GRACE KENNEDY Boys and Girls Championships.
